At Cats in Distress we understand the importance of education. We want the next generation of pet owners to be educated, informed and compassionate. So last year we started our education programme aimed at the children in our local community. Our very own Veterinary Nurse and other volunteers launched our brand new ‘Pet Care Parties’ which not only engage young people in a fun and exciting way, but also teach them about proper pet care and raise vital funds for the charity. This year we would like to continue to develop this programme by engaging with children in schools. You can help us to do this by giving the virtual gift of educational resources. Your donation will fund engaging and exciting toys, props and craft supplies that we will use at our Pet Care Parties and school visits to engage the children and get them thinking about how to best look after their pets and be kind to all animals, providing a brighter future for animal welfare!
