Cats in Distress

Theo and Mabel’s ‘new start’ in the new forest🌲

What is it about Bank Holidays, that makes the british public decide to sit in a car, in queues of traffic, for hours on end?. Personally, I can’t think of anything worse. But thats what Amy Parratt & I did yesterday when we took Mabel & Theo to their new home.

Mabel & Theo have been with us for 2 months and have really come our of their shells. Yes we’ve put the work in, but they were the ones who decided, people aren’t so bad after all. They’ve had so much change in their young lives, that we felt, rather than them going into foster care, ideally they would go straight to their “forever home”. As you can imagine, we’ve had a number of enquiries, none were quite right.

Until last week. One enquiry ticked all the boxes and thats why yesterday Amy and I braved the traffic and took these beauties to their new home in the New Forest. Their new people understand animals, they’ll continue the work we’ve started, we’ve already had an update today, that Mabel is wanting love and approaching them for strokes and comfort. Theo remains nervous & more reserved, but has found his new favourite toy…… a tap….. with running water.

Thanks to everyone who has played a part in their rehabilitation. Another success story for team CID.
