Lily is a 7-year-old girl with a big personality and a surprisingly soft side.
Lily has had quite a journey. After previously being bullied by other cats, she found herself living in an increasingly busy household with young children and new kittens. It all became too much for Lily, and she gradually began spending more and more time outside, eventually choosing to live in the garden for several months.
Despite being a tough little survivor, we think Lily is actually quite a sensitive and vulnerable girl underneath it all.
Since returning to foster, Lily has slowly started showing her sweeter side. She is highly intelligent, curious and loves sitting up high watching everything going on. She is also very vocal and enjoys chatting away to you! As she has settled, she has started following her foster carers around to see what they are doing and will come over for sniffs, head bumps and gentle fuss, particularly enjoying soft forehead strokes and cheek rubs.
Everything with Lily needs to be on her terms, and she will need someone patient who understands that trust cannot be rushed. We feel that with the right person, Lily could form a really strong bond and become a loyal little companion.
Lily is looking for a quiet, experienced cat home with no young children or other cats. She would benefit from someone who is home for much of the day and happy to give her plenty of time, patience, company and play.
Once fully settled, Lily would love a safe outdoor environment to explore, ideally with a large garden or countryside nearby and well away from busy roads.
Lily has spent a long time adapting to difficult environments and we would love to finally see her find a calm, loving home where she can truly relax and be herself. ❤️
