There are 2 teeny tinys that very lucky to be here

There are 2 teeny tinys that very lucky to be here on International Cat Day. They appeared on our radar after Jenny Jones of Search and Scan - SAS was asked to attend a feral colony at Horningsham. Three little ones were found, cold, crying and with no mum in attendance, Jenny whisked them off to Harris, Hill & Gibbons. We had the call asking if we could assist with care. Sophie Milligan was alerted and put on standby for handrearing duties.
Sadly, one didn't survive the journey, but these two were stronger and when Jenny arrived at HHG, she handed them over to vet nurse Liz Doughty. Liz is one of our fosterers and it wasn't long before I had a message from her, could she keep one, not to foster, but to adopt. Lucky boy.
The other kitten was collected by Sophie, who messaged me a little later, to say she would do what she could, but wasn't confident he would make it. But this morning she messaged to say a miracle had happened, he was loads better, he was also hissy and had bitten Sophie, all good signs that he was feeling stronger.
It's early days for them both, but thanks to these three ladies at least they have the best chance at a bright future. #internationalcatday #makeadifference #catrescue #kittens #kittenrescue #adoptdontshop #handrearing #charity
