Around 10 years old, Sampson had been straying for a long time before finally being brought into safety. He arrived covered in battle scars, matted, underweight, and very timid, but once he learned to trust, his affectionate nature quickly shone through. He has now been neutered, tested negative for FIV, had treatment for a facial wound, and recently underwent dental work which has made him much more comfortable. He’s healing well and will be ready for adoption after his first vaccination next week, provided adopters can bring him back for his second vaccination. Sampson absolutely loves a fuss and has recently discovered the joy of laps! While he can initially be a little wary of men, he has grown hugely in confidence during his time in foster. We feel Sampson would likely suit being an only cat, although he may be able to live with one calm, cat-friendly cat with enough space. After years of surviving on the streets, Sampson is now ready to find the safe and loving forever home he deserves.
