Found as a stray, estimated to be around 4 years old, he came into our care skinny, severely matted, and clearly neglected — needing a full shave just to make him comfortable. But more than anything, Morgan was terrified.
He was extremely scared of people, hiding himself away and avoiding all contact. It was clear he had learned not to trust humans.
But Morgan just needed time… and someone to prove him wrong.
With patience, gentle care, and a safe space to decompress, Morgan has slowly begun to realise that not all people are unkind. And now? He is like a completely different cat.
He has softened into a calm, affectionate boy who enjoys a gentle stroke, leans into a fuss, and has discovered the comfort of human companionship. Watching that change has been something really special.
Morgan will need a quieter home without young children, where things aren’t too busy or overwhelming. He thrives on consistency, patience, and a calm environment where he can continue to feel safe and secure.
Once fully settled, he will also need access to the outdoors. His long coat will need regular upkeep!
