Evie is a five-year-old, much-loved tabby who was originally rehomed by us in 2022 to one of the Cats In Distress trustees. Sadly, her owner has since passed away, and Evie is now looking for a new home.
Evie is the sweetest cat who enjoys a quiet life and access to the outdoors. She isn’t a fan of strangers, other cats or dogs, and is very much a one-person cat. Once she trusts you, though, she has plenty of love to give.
Evie is currently in foster care, where her foster carers are giving her lots of love, affection and reassurance. She was present during her owner’s final days, so she has been through a huge amount of change and is undoubtedly still grieving.
Anyone considering giving Evie a home will need to understand what she has been through and be prepared to give her the time, space and patience she needs to settle and heal.
Before all of this, Evie was a loyal, playful and loving companion. With the right person and a little time, we know that side of her will shine through again.
