Eclipse is a stunning black cat with beautiful green eyes and a huge personality. He is affectionate, loving and full of character, with a wonderfully loud purr and plenty to say. He enjoys head rubs, sleeping beside his humans and occasionally curling up on a lap for a cuddle.
He is an incredibly friendly and confident cat who absolutely loves people, but this friendliness can sometimes get him into trouble. This is why he is being rehomed. Eclipse is not suited to his current area as he has very little understanding of boundaries and loves exploring wherever he pleases. He has been known to wander into neighbours’ houses, help himself to food, charm his way into local buildings and even accidentally get locked inside places while out on his adventures.
Because of this, we feel Eclipse would benefit from a more rural or semi-rural location where he can safely enjoy the outdoor lifestyle he loves. However, he doesn’t necessarily need a very rural home if other aspects of his environment can meet his needs. A home where someone is around more often, with plenty of company, enrichment and things to keep him occupied, may give him more reason to stay closer to home and help balance his adventurous nature.
Eclipse would prefer to be the only pet and is best suited to an adult-only home with owners who understand and respect cat body language.
In the home he is very well behaved, clean and settled, happily using his scratching post and enjoying cosy places to sleep after a day of exploring.
