Duchess and Harriet came into our care as part of a trio, from a multi-cat household where there had been a number of unplanned litters.
Their brother Fergus has already found his forever home and is reserved, but these two beautiful girls are still waiting for theirs. At around 5–6 months old, they’re at that lovely age where they’re growing in confidence and really starting to show their personalities.
Duchess is the more confident of the two, she’s curious, outgoing and always keen to see what’s going on. Harriet is a little more reserved, but is coming along beautifully in her own time.
Both girls could potentially live with other cats and may be able to live with a dog, provided introductions are done slowly and properly. If adopting separately, we would like them to have an existing, playful, friendly cat in the home or someone who works from home to keep them company.
And their story is also a gentle reminder of just how quickly things can get out of hand in a multi-cat household. Unplanned litters can happen before you know it, which is why neutering is so important!
