No one would meet Darren today and believe he spent much of his life as a stray.
This handsome boy is incredibly affectionate, gentle and full of love. He showers his foster carer with purrs, head bumps and affection whenever he gets the chance, and has quickly shown just what a wonderful companion he is.
Darren’s friendly nature is thanks in no small part to the kindness he received before coming into our care. He was regularly fed, treated for fleas and ticks, and given the attention he deserved, helping him learn that people could be trusted. Sadly, because he wasn’t neutered, he continued to get into fights, something that was evident from the many wounds and scars he arrived with.
At just five years old, Darren also had several damaged teeth, but he has now had his dental treatment and is feeling much more comfortable. He has tested negative for FIV, has been neutered, and his days of fighting for survival are firmly behind him.
Soon, Darren will be ready to find the forever home he deserves. We already know his future is looking brighter—but whoever is lucky enough to adopt him will be gaining a truly special cat.
