Basil and Bobby are gorgeous bonded brothers who have been together their whole lives and are looking for a loving home where they can continue their lives side by side. Due to a change in circumstances, their current owner is sadly no longer able to provide them with the long-term home they deserve.
These two share a very special bond and can often be found playing together, grooming one another or curled up side by side for a nap. They are very important to each other, so they must be rehomed together.
Basil is the more affectionate and outgoing of the pair. He has a big personality and an even bigger heart, absolutely loving attention, fuss and cuddles. He’ll happily rub around your legs to ask for affection and is a very chatty boy who loves to “talk” to his people throughout the day. If you work from home, he may well decide your laptop is the perfect place to be! He particularly enjoys rubbing his face around the corners of laptops and curling up on the warm keyboard. He also has a funny habit of claiming any bags left on the floor as his own personal bed!
Bobby is a sweet, gentle boy with a calmer and more independent nature. He enjoys doing his own thing but is a lovely companion to have around. He can be a little shy when meeting new people, so he’ll need a patient home where he can settle in at his own pace. Once he feels comfortable and safe, his gentle personality really shines through. Bobby is currently carrying a little extra weight, so he would benefit from a gradual, guided diet alongside plenty of gentle play to help him reach a healthier weight.
Basil and Bobby are countryside and outdoor cats, and it is very important that this lifestyle can continue in their new home. They would not be suited to a busy or built-up area, particularly anywhere with heavy traffic or busy roads.
They can be a little shy initially, but with time and a gentle introduction, they are able to warm up to dogs. They have lived with a dog previously, although not for a few years.
Both boys will also receive the veterinary care they need before adoption. This will include a vaccination booster and dental treatment, alongside any other care recommended by the vet, so they can start their new life feeling their best.
We’re looking for a kind, loving home for these special brothers where they can enjoy plenty of space, affection and companionship — and, most importantly, continue to have each other by their side.
