Hope is such a sweet girl, living in ‘hope’ for the ‘purrfect’ home. She came into our care after spending time as a stray. This means we are unsure of her age but we estimate she is middle to senior aged. Who knows how long Hope spent outside seeking shelter and what has happened to her in her life to this point. But what we do know is that whatever her experience, it has made her incredibly nervous. She spends a lot of time hiding in foster care, however she is making progress and when she is feeling brave she will come out for strokes and attention. She doesn’t always know how to receive love and sometimes she gets frightened and may hiss or swipe but it is only out of fear. She will need a patient and caring owner who is willing to slowly allow her the time she needs to come out of her shell and show her just how wonderful it can be being a member of a loving family. Hope also enjoys treats and catnip cushions! She is looking for a ‘furever’ home where she can have a warm and cozy space to hide, with no dogs or children, we’re unsure whether she could be homed with another cat but another gentle cat that would give her space is a possibility. We would also like her to eventually have access to an outdoor space that she can explore.
