Glen

Glen came to us as a stray, when he arrived he sadly had a leg injury. But he is now fully recovered and enjoying being in a safe, warm space with a human on demand for him. He is extremely affectionate and loves attention. As with all cats, he has his own personality and quirks. From the beginning it was obvious that he was pleased to see us but he wasn’t sure if the correct way to vocalise this was with a meow or a hiss. So he did both! Although his skills in politeness have greatly improved he does sometimes forget and will occasionally hiss. Glen needs a family who will understand that this is simply his way of communicating and he means no harm! Most of the time when he does hiss he is purring too! Glen loves to play. He will chase balls all day long if you let him. Then he becomes so excited with the attention he gives a gentle nip to urge on the fun. He is perfectly litter trained and quite food orientated. His person will be greeted with beautiful chirrups every time a food bowl comes into his line of sight. He simply loves having someone near him so he can have his own little conversation and feel he is being understood as he does so. He will happily approach for head bumps and shows his happiness with an overload of purrs while making biscuits. Glen would benefit from living with someone who is home often to settle him in and show him what it truly means to be part of a loving home. He can be nervous of loud noises or sudden movements so will need a patient and understanding owner that will allow him the time he needs to come out of his shell. And when he does it will be well and truly worth it! So if Glen sounds like the one for you, please get in touch.
