Book our Easter edition Pet Care Party 28/3/26

Cats In Distress are now hosting Children’s Pet Care Parties.  We held our first Pet Care Party in Summer 2025, this year we are kicking off with an Easter theme Pet Care Party!

Here at Cats in Distress we are incredibly passionate about animal care & welfare. We understand that a big part of moving forward towards positive change in animal welfare means educating and engaging with the younger generation, after all these are our future pet owners!

So, as part of our new education programme we have decided to kick off with a fun and engaging fundraising activity!

ABOUT THE PARTY

Our pet care parties will include a variety of activities. Children can choose a cuddly toy ‘pet’ to adopt and take home, decorate a cardboard pet carrier for their new pet, make them a beaded collar, learn about animal welfare & care, and the ‘five freedoms’ from a registered veterinary nurse in a fun and engaging way, play animal theme party games, plus, encourage socialising and positive play with their peers.

This party will have an Easter theme in mind!

DETAILS

  • SAVE THE DATE – 28th March 2026
  • Session time – 10.15-11.45 am

  • We are asking for a minimum donation of £10 which will be used to support the cat’s in our care

KIDS PARTIES

This format also makes a great option for children’s birthday parties! If you would like to book a whole session for a party: a minimum of 10 children and a maximum of 15 children must be booked.

The real icing on the cake, however, is that every birthday child will receive a cat/kitten cuddling and playtime voucher to be used at our rescue on a separate date (to be arranged.) What is better than kitten cuddling?!
